In the fall of 2012, I met a person who would become a wise mentor to me. Joe had a sign in his office that said, "You are important!" He said, "People think that sign is there for them. It's actually for me."
Joe was an amazing example to me of someone who was meticulous about his self-care. He scheduled his work clients around his sacred gym time and yoga classes. He went on beautiful vacations to visit his sons and spend time in nature with his lovely wife. It was obvious to me that Joe valued himself and his life.
